If you are a mom like me you are managing multiple pots on the stove trying to make sure the water doesn’t boil over in any pot or any given area of your life! You need to make sure the kids are taken care of, you are on top of your job, your home isn’t a total disaster, oh and dinner is ready at 6pm. If you are lucky maybe you have a few ounces of energy left over to do something for yourself like workout, a haircut, or if you are really lucky a trip to Target for some new Yoga pants (it’s been on my mental to do list for a month and still hasn’t happened).😂
My friend Jen Blanca @jenblanca posted her weekly planner and I loved how she had broken each day into categories. Those pots on the stove, or different areas in your life that need your attention everyday. I love it because it makes sure you are tending to each of those areas of your life. It is a great way to keep you accountable to each area of your life and throwing some red flags if you are seeing one area that is regularly neglected. As you can see my home category is looking a little sparse!😂
I found this weekly planner today that has enough space by day to add each category. My goal is to plan out a week in advance. I have a type A personality so I am very goal driven and very analytical but I am also very creative which makes me very spontaneous! So this will be a challenge but I am excited to take it on!
