I love throwing baby and wedding showers in my home for friends and family! I have done three in the past couple of years and I feel I have it down to a science at this point! Today I am going to highlight a fun farm themed baby shower that I threw with some friends! If you have a friend that is in love with the farmhouse look or dreams to have a farm of her own someday I have some great baby shower ideas for you! The links in this post contain affiliate links and I will receive a small commission at no cost to you if you make a purchase after clicking on my link.
I found this amazing invitation on Etsy and it was so perfect for this farm fresh baby shower! The one I used is no longer available but I found some other adorable farm themed options. The Blue Checked Farm Themed Baby Shower Invitation, Rustic Farm Animal Invitation Bundle, Buffalo Plaid Baby Shower Invite, and Tractor Baby Shower Invitation are such adorable options!
I love to garden and in the summer and spring my gardens are always full of flowers! I love to create mason jars of flower arrangements from my garden and use them throughout the house and as table arrangements. For many of my parties I have used them both as the table arrangements as well as the party favors. Who doesn’t love going home with a flower arrangement?! Too cold outside for garden fresh flowers? Head to Trader Joe’s! They have the best selection at the best prices! Mason jars make inexpensive vases and add to that farm feel!
I love to do brunches for my showers! The food is always super easy to prepare and delicious and it allows guest to leave the party at a reasonable time and still have the rest of their day. Here is a link to my favorite quiche recipe that I use for all my brunches! I also always do my favorite Spinach Salad (recipe below), fruit salad, rolls, and parfait. I take the kids blueberry picking every summer and freeze the berries so we can enjoy delicious parfaits all year round!
Spinach Salad Recipe

Love using a tiered tray or plate stand like I have in this picture to add some depth and visual interest to my buffet display! Found a couple of similar options that I love! Love this unique 3 Tier Collapsible Server Tiered Stand, 2 Tier Wood Server Tiered Stand, and Triple Tiered Plate Stand.
We used a lot of vintage baby items mixed with farm antiques in our decorations which gave the party a cozy farmhouse feel. On the fireplace mantle I stacked up some books and then spelled out the names of the mom and dad to be in alphabet blocks.
At each of my baby showers I love to incorporate baby pictures of the mom and dad to be. It is so fun to see these old photos and the guests always love to see the photos and talk about memories they have of the mom and dad to be growing up! At this party we used a rustic frame with chicken wire attached and clipped the photos onto the structure with clothespins to give a farmhouse feel. We also used this table to hold the party favors. My very talented friend Jen made each of these homemade jars of jam for each guest.
Throwing a friend or family member a baby shower is such an honor and such an amazing opportunity to show how much you love them! Love to create a day of memories they will cherish for many years to come and celebrate that new little one!
