I had so much fun putting together my Easter Tablescape today! I knew that I definitely wanted to use Easter Eggs as the placecards this year and I have fallen in love with egg cups. I think they may need to be my new favorite collection! Going to walk you through each step of creating my Easter tablescape! Hopefully you get some inspiration for your own Easter tablescape and maybe some new egg cups! Seriously, aren’t they just the cutest?!?! The Place Setting
I think the place setting is my favorite part of the whole tablescape! @lisaj.handmade was able to personalize these pretty artificial eggs with each guests name. I have similar eggs linked here. I love that I can always bring Lisa the most random projects and she is always able to make my vision a reality (thank you Lisa!!).
I have absolutely fallen hard for egg cups! Found these adorable ones @homegoods but I have put together a whole list of options for you that I all want! How adorable are these bird egg cups in the top left? Also love these modern neutral terracotta egg cups in the top center. The wooden egg cups in the top right can be customized with names and images. You can even get a bunny image with a name, adorable! The blue and white egg cups in the center are so elegant and the white bunny egg cups in the bottom left would be adorable for an Easter tablescape! Love the fun multi-colored polka dot egg cups in the bottom center and you can add a personalized message to the heart egg cups in the bottom right!
Place Setting Nest
To add some color to the white plate and to stick with the egg theme, I created a little nest at the base of the egg cup using a very thin berry garland. I have a similar garland linked here.
I got all my flowers and greenery from Trader Joe’s and used this adorable flower box from @whiskeypinesco that created a rustic feel. I placed mason jars inside the boxes and then stuffed tissue paper around the mason jars so that the spanish moss would sit on top nicely. I love using spanish moss with a planter like this because it makes the flowers look like they are actually planted in the box and makes the arrangement look more polished and complete! I waited to add the Spanish moss until all the flowers were in and then just stuck in where there was space. I used the pussy willows to give the arrangement height and to anchor the total arrangement. I filled in with seeded eucalyptus and white tulips. Lastly I added in cute little Easter eggs throughout the arrangement.
Had such a wonderful time putting this table together! Hope it brought you some Easter decoration inspiration and a new appreciation for egg cups!
